Parent Visit

Last Tuesday, the school invited kindy's parents to have a morning tea and a visit to kindy's classroom. There, we could see how the learning activities ran in the classroom. When we visited the classroom in the morning, the students were having their literacy program. They sat on the floor while Mrs Messiniss read them a story. Then the teacher wrote 4 words from the story, which were: the castle, a forest, the church, and the sea. The teacher told them how to read the words (they were currently studying the "c" sound). After that, the students were asked to do their worksheets, to draw the picture as written in there (those 4 words). There were 16 students in this class, divided into 4 groups. The leader of the group took the worksheet from Mrs. Messinis and passed it on to his/her group's members. And they sat quietly and began their work in the table.
I was amazed by their obedient.
After the works done, the teacher asked some students to show their works in front of the class. They read the worlds aloud and the other students gave her/his a big clap.

Mamapong.
